Money - why it should NOT exist

They say money makes the world go round but I say money stops the world from advancing.

Isn't it funny how they say that humans are the smartest creatures on earth and yet we are the only one paying to live on this planet? The person that came up with the concept of money must be really selfish. Well it is in the human nature to think of oneself more than others (in other words, self-centered/selfish).

We first started off with the trading system where we trade a cow with maybe 20 kilogram of rice etc etc. This system later changed into what we are using now - MONEY. Because apparently it is too difficult to determine how many cob of corn is equivalent to a kilogram of rice. So the idea of using something with a fixed value came about.

But isn't it stupid how something that is suppose to help us in our life turn out to be something that cause unhappiness and tension among many? Not to mention the way it causes people to become so distanced.

If the concept of money is not so luckily discovered/invented by the genius (whoever he/she might be), how will our life be like now? No beggars, no snobby rich people. What can't the world be one big happy family where everyone shares things with anyone? Why are people born to be so selfish? And why can't people ignore the concept of money?

What's worse is that your status is given to you at birth. You don't even have to work for it. If you're born into a mega rich family, congratulations you have an easy life ahead of you with money to wipe your sweat with. But if you're born into a poor family, too bad for you because you can work 24/7 and still will not be guarantee a place in the rich people's party.

The poor will remain poor/gets poorer while the rich gets richer. Sooner or later the gap will be so distinct that there is no turning back. No chance of turning things around. Say bye bye to equality.

People are arguing for equality between genders/race/religion. "FEMALE RIGHTS" "SAY NO TO RACISM" but why isn't there a sign that says "GIVE THE POOR A CHANCE" why aren't people fighting for equality between people of different status. The poorest people are often denied many opportunities because they are unable to afford it. But is this even their fault? No. It is not their choice to be born into a family that can't afford the education for them. It is not their fault that the family don't have money to provide sufficient food and they have to live in constant hunger.

One might argue that well it's their ancestors that didn't work hard enough. Well I argue that, why must they be punish for things their ancestors (probably more than just a few hundred years old) did, or rather, did not do?

It's like a race where the rich starts off at the 300m mark. Unless the poor is a super duper turbo runner, how will they ever catch up?
